cool coma is the debut full-length album by Montreal's Phern, a new 5-piece band made up of Hélène Barbier (Moss Lime), Ben Lalonde (Soft Cone), Christian Simmons (Lantern, Sheer Agony, Couleur Dessin), Sarah Haag (R U Real), and Michael Wright (Each Other).

Presented in chronological order, the new album gathers 14 recordings that span Phern's first year, highlighting the group's playful, elastic approach, seesawing guitars, and cool, hypnotic vocals.
