2nd edition of 200 (March 2013)

"The Homeshake Tape" is the debut album by Homeshake, the solo recording project of Montreal-based musician Peter Sagar (Sans Aids, Outdoor Miners).

Originally from Edmonton, Peter moved to Montreal in 2011 "for a cheap place to play music with some friends," including Mac DeMarco whose band he plays guitar in.

"The Homeshake Tape" collects 9 songs that Peter recorded at home with the help of Jackson MacIntosh (Sheer Agony) and Mac DeMarco. This 25-minute album was released on Fixture Records in a limited run of 200 "cool blue" cassettes. The first run quickly sold out and a second edition of 200 tapes was made in March 2013.
